Thank you for your welcome. Your English is very good, no need to excuse yourself. I live in Charleston S.C..I think you are wrong about the way that the world perceives Italy/Italians. It is not only the food that is appreciated, the Italian lifestyle, I think is, appreciated throughout the world! Italy has given much to the world and still does! As far as politics, our politicians are just as bad as yours, I think it is part of the job!
I love all Italian food, from polenta to pasta e sarde, Italy is very lucky to have such a varied cuisine. Ciao a tutti
